Ingredients
1 cup roasted sooji
1/4 cup udad dal flour store bought
Method
Mix both the sooji and udad dal flour with enough water to make a idli batter consistency .
Cover and allow to ferment overnight till almost doubled .
After fermentation , add little water if necessary, add salt,mix batter gently, prepare idlis and dosas like usual .
Here i have prepared rava idlis with tempering , without adding any soda or eno .
They have steamed well and light in texture .
