Quick rava ladoo under 20 minutes .
There are many types of rava ladoo such as the firm hard ones made with sugar syrup , the dry version where no wet ingredients are added and the ladoo is completely made with fine powdered rava and sugar , and shaped with melted ghee . There are also varieties with condensed milk , with coconut . Here I have given a simple method which can be followed by anyone with no expertise . No string consistency of sugar syrup etc . Adding heavy cream to bind will enrich the taste . These rava ladoos can be enjoyed by the elderly
Ingredients
1 cup fine rava , preferably chiroti rava
1/4 cup ghee or enough to roast the rava .
The rava must not float in ghee . ( in the sense be careful with adding too much ghee 😁 )
Pinch of cardamom powder
3/4 cup powdered sugar or as preferred.
Few cashewnuts and raisins fried in ghee
1/4 cup milk or less just enough to bind .
1/4 cup dedicated coconut . . Optional but will taste yummyYou can also add some almond or cashew powder instead of coconut, this also helps in getting a non sticky ladoo .
Method
Roll the prepared ladoos in these nut powders or more desiccated coconut.
Tip : after removing from heat Allie the mixture to cool completely for an hour . If will become firm and dry .
