Easy pottukadalai muruku for festivals or for tea time. Method

Firstly grind the pottukadalai /fried gram to a fine powder , sieve it once or twice to get super fine powder .

Next mix all dry ingredients well, then add the hot oil, and little water at a time to make a soft dough .

Grease the inner sides of a murukku press, place the three holes plate or four holes polate inside the press, make small balls of the dough , fill the press.

Heat oil , press the murukku into hot oil directly or by shaping into small rounds on greased ladles or a plastic sheet .

Deep fry till golden brown and almost crispy, they will become more crispy after remocing and cooling .

drain into a colander.

store when completely cooled .
