Vella dosai ( sweet dosa )
Traditional tiffin : Vella Dosai ( jaggery dosa ) favourite for both elders and kids .
Ingredients
1 cup wheat flour or any millet flour like Ragi
2 tbsp rice flour
3/4 cup powdered melted jaggery in 3/4 cup water , ( filtered )
Pinch of salt
Pinch of cardamom powder
3 tbsp grated fresh coconut ( optional )
Method
Mix all the Ingredients to make thick dosa batter , adding enough water .
Heat a dosa tava and prepare thin dosas , add ghee or oil , flip both sides , serve with butter .
Should be eaten hot.
