Delicious soft spongy oats rava set dosa , ( no Eno , no soda , ) recipe is a life saver for the elderly unable to grind , esp big qty of batter . You Can prepare normal dosas too.
Delicious healthy quick dosa without hours of soaking , just grind rava oats add in little curd and water to make a dosa batter. Cover and ferment overnight. Enjoy delicious spongy soft set dosas for breakfast. The batter is so versatile you can make yummy paniyarams , uthappams or veg Adai.
Ingredients
1/2 cup Rava /semolina /sooji
1/4 cup oats
Method
Soak both for 15 minutes .
Grind to a dosa batter consistency .
Cover and allow to ferment overnight or for 8hours .
Prepare delicious spongy dosas by pouring batter onto a heated dosa tava , without spreading or spreading lightly .
cover and cook .
soon the pores will appear due to fermentation , use ghee or oil .
Flip and cook both sides if you wish .
I like to keep the white porous part so i dont flip and cook .
Serve with any side dish of your choice, the dosa will soak up sambar or chutney and becomes even more delicious .
