Beetroot stirfry

Mixed veg stew

Tomato rasam ( not in the frame )

Curd rice and gooseberries pickles (not in frame )

The Beetroot stirfry is garnished with my coconut

coriander green chilies chutney premix , it tastes great and I use it for garnishing many curries.

The ground paste added to drumsticks and lady fingers.

Recipe

1/2 cup coconut

1 tsp cumin seeds

1 tsp chili powder

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp Kashmiri chili powder

Method

  • Grind to smooth paste, add to the cooked drumsticks .

  • 1 chopped tomato and lady fingers , no extra podi added.

  • Add 1/2 cup cooked dal, Salt, asafoetida powder.

  • Add curry leaves, 2 slit green chilies, turmeric powder added to little water, to cook drumsticks.

  • Separately sautee lady fingers in another pan and add to drumsticks mixture.

  • Cover and cook till tender . Add ground paste as already mentioned.

Tempering

with 1 tsp coconut oil , splutter mustard seeds

1/4 tsp methi seeds , curry leaves

Enjoy with rice and Pappadam or any stir fry.
