1 cup Basmati Rice
2 cups Broccoli florets
2 Tbsp sesame oil ( chinese )
2 Tsp garlic
1 onion chopped
1/4 Cup beans
1 . carrot chopped
small Green Capsicum chopped
small Red Capsicum chopped
2 tsp salt or as required
2 tsp white pepper
2 tsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Chilli Sauce
few Spring Onion Greens
few Spring Onion Whites
Method
Begin by cooking the long grain basmati rice about 80 percent only in a pan of sufficient water, before it cooks completely, remove and drain in a colander, pour cold water over it so that it remians dry and cool , non sticky . kep aside .
Rinse the broccoli thoroughly, chop it into bite-sized florets, and set aside.
Warm sesame oil in a broad wok, then stir in the finely chopped garlic and onions for roughly 1 minute until fragrant.
Add in diced beans, carrots, green bell peppers, and red bell peppers to the wok, stirring vigorously on high heat.
Mix in the broccoli florets, continuing to stir for another minute. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Blend in soya sauce and chili sauce thoroughly with the vegetables.
When the vegetables have softened slightly, add the drained cooled rice, adding both the whites and greens of spring onions.
Carefully mix everything, adjusting the seasoning with additional salt and pepper as needed.
Serve the vibrant and flavorful Broccoli Fried Rice immediately, perfect while steaming hot.
