one red bell pepper gave me tasty chutney!
Roast the chopped peppers with chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, a small piece of tamarind, 3 red chillis,some chopped dhania leaves with 2 tbsp of oil .the no of onions, peppers, tomatoes you want to use depends on individual preferences .
when the peppers are nicely roasted, lightly charred in fact, then let the mixture cool down, grind in mixie with n salt .
Add a tempering of mustard seeds , curry leaves, asafoetida powder and 1 red chilly .in sesame oil , add to prepared chutney .
Makes a delcious side dish for chapati, idli, dosa.
You can also add coconut for grinding this chutney .
