Idli premix | No grind idlis
Here's another blessing for busy homemakers, working women, students, bachelors, and those heading abroad – a premix for idlis that eliminates the need for any grinding. Utilizing readily available rice rava, it's advisable to purchase in bulk and create various mixes like rice upma and rice vada. This rice rava idli doesn't involve any grinding; simply add urad dal flour. If urad dal flour isn't accessible at your local store, consider searching online, or as a last resort, lightly dry roast urad dal, powder it, and sieve it twice for a smooth texture to create urad dal flour. You can customize your premix by incorporating poha, either as mashed or powdered.
For the powder premix, it's efficient to prepare a large batch with all powders readily available. This method is particularly convenient for bachelors, elderly couples, students, and individuals newly relocating to foreign countries. Follow the steps below, and be sure to explore my other premix recipes on my website and YouTube channel."
