Kesar pista Peda

It's hard to find someone who doesn't appreciate the charm of a milk peda. Whether it's a festival or a celebration, the allure of these milky delights is irresistible. The addition of saffron (kesar) and pistachios elevates the humble milk pedas to a realm of divine and exquisite indulgence.

Kesar Peda is a traditional Indian sweet that belongs to the category of pedas, which are soft, fudge-like sweets made from condensed milk and flavored with various ingredients. "Kesar" refers to saffron, and Kesar Peda is characterized by the inclusion of saffron strands, imparting both a distinct color and a subtle, aromatic flavor to the sweet.

The preparation of Kesar Peda typically involves condensing milk, adding sugar, and then incorporating saffron-infused milk or saffron strands. This mixture is then cooked until it reaches a fudgy consistency. The pedas are often shaped into small, round discs and may be garnished with chopped nuts like pistachios or almonds.

Kesar Peda is popular during festivals, celebrations, and special occasions in India. Its rich, creamy texture, combined with the fragrance and color of saffron, makes it a delightful and festive treat enjoyed by many.
