No knead Artisan Bread
Artisan bread ( No knead bread )
Ingredients
1.5 cups multigrain flour
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp jaggery or sugar
1/2 tsp instant yeast
3/4 cup water .
Method
Activate yeast in warm water with jaggery .
Cover and keep .
Take a bowl , add the activated yeast
Add flour , salt , water , mix with a spatula till a rough ball of dough is formed .
Cover with a cling wrap.
Keep in refrigerator for cold proofing.
After 8 hours or 12 hours , take out dough from the fridge .
Sprinkle some flour on a work surface, place dough on it , with floured hands bring dough to a ball .
Place in a baking tray or loaf tin .
Cover and allow to proof for about 2 hours .
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 C for 25 to 30 minutes .
Oven times will differ .
Remove when top of bread is browned .
Allow to cool on a rack .
Slice when completely cool .
