Apple millet sheera
Delicious millets and apple sheera to offer as a quick healthy nutritious neivediyam for festival days . Sheera is usually prepared with sooji , here we can use millets a s a healthy alternative . Usually i prepare quick neivediyam using millet rava or millets in whole grain form . I like the texture of millets in whole grain , it feels like bansi rava actually .
further more millets have known to be a filling and healthy alternative to rice or wheat .
Moeover millets cook faster than rice and can be cooked in open pan method also . I have given a recipe card for the recipe with m,illet rava , you can use either in rava form or whole grain .
Given below is a method where in you wash millets many times till water is clear,thenspread on a cloth to dry , use the same in the recipe (keep soaked for 3-4 hours)for maximum nutrition from millets .
