Recipe No 1.
Most delicious tomato adai or tomato dosa
1/2 cup broken wheat rava / or quinoq / bansi rava
1/4 cup chana dal
1/4 cup toor dal
1/4 cup udad dal
2 chopped tomatoes
2-3 kashmiri red chillies
soak all dals and red chillies with broken wheat rava for 2 hours after washing well
grind to a slightly coarse paste with 2 chopped tomatoes , add salt to batter , mix well .
prepare tomato adai /dosa, immediately , as thick ,or as thin as you like . it becomes very crispy too . no fermentation required
use sesame oil , enjoy with butter, jaggery , avial or chutney of your choice
add drumstick leaves , greens, spring onion greens, grated vegetables, cabbage, carrots to the adai batter
