Ingredients
2 cups or as required washed soaked chickpeas for upto 8 hours .
pinch of turmeric powder
salt
chili powder
chaat masala
1/2 tsp coconut oil
Method
pressure cook the chick peas till 3-4 whistles ., add pinch of turmeric powder , salt as needed .
Remove the chickpeas, drain on a tea towel , or use a colander, spread the chickpeas on a plate or papaer towel to dry .
Set the airfryer to 180 C , initially roast the chickpeas in the airfryer, without adding dry powders by spreading the chickpeas around the basket .
airfry for 12 minutes , in between open the basket and toss the contents so that the chickpeas can get evenly roasted .
now add the spice powders with oil and toss the chickpeas, again continue to roast till they become crunchy . it may take about 15 to 20 minutes max.
store the cooled roasted chickpeas in a airtight container and enjoy as a snack .
